This is Grunden Bois'
team of travelling lecturers. The trio is comprised
of the two players Joakim Andersson and Madelene Johanson,
joined by Bois' own Thor Guttormsen (seen on the right).
They are the ones that make sure that the positive
image and message of Bois' get in circulation, in
hopes that people who know next to nothing about sports
for the intellectually impaired become full- fledged
bois- oholics! They take the opportunity to lecture
people about Bois almost every chance they can get!
They have reached out to people during conferences
and conventions, and have over the years spoken to
people coming from a broad range in the business'
world spectrum as well as educational institutions
such as schools and alike. The Bois trio of informers
have been keeping very busy the past few years, as
the popularity of Grunden Bois has soared to unparalleled
heights, most likely due to the two documentaries
that were made.
The lectures are sometimes combined with an exhibition
game, where Grunden Bois first play a friendly game
to show off their moves which is followed by an information
session moderated by the informers. In these instances,
crowd records have been set and all the local media
representatives have been present and put the spotlight
on Bois. This has proves to be a successful combination
that really underscores the real, underlying purpose
of Grunden Bois. These sort of lectures helps us to
realise what we set to accomplish, which is to inspire
other so start a football, floor hockey or other form
of athletic campaign of their own, directed towards
those with intellectual disabilities. Thus, we make
sure that others, except Grunden Bois favours from
the attention we get.
